Hello everybody!!!

My fiance is going to have an interview during this week for a new job place in the same company he's currently working but if he got it he would have to move to North Carolina where it seems the headquarters of that company are. (He's living in Ohio right now)

The spanish embassy had my DS230 I and the checklist of papers for the interview on june 4th and I´m waiting for them to send me package 4. So at this point of the process if he had to move because work issues obviously i should report that change of address but to who? NVC? USA embassy in Spain?

Another thing to say is that my fiance wouldn't know his new address (just the name of the city and the state for now) till he actually moves to North Carolina (2-3 months from now) so i couldn't be reporting an specific address till then.

Well, that's not 100% sure to happen but just wondering how i would have to do if it's the case.

Thank you in advance.

God bless!!! :)

Hi Seven,

I have similar issue myself. My fiance lives with his parents. He bought a house last year and at this point he's preparing it for my arrival. When he sent our I-129F package he used his parents' address on all the forms. I'm waiting for my packet 3 to be sent by embassy (and they told us just an hour ago that they will do it tomorrow morning). So when I receive my letter and when I fill in the forms I will have to put my fiance's and my future home's address on the form, not the one he used when filing.

When you are in the middle of the process with USCIS and change your address you have to file ''Change of Addres'' form or just do it online @ USCIS page. At this point we are done with USCIS until we file for AOS, so there's no need to report change of address to anyone.

Thank you for your reply!!! yeah...i already received packet 3 and there's this question in the DS230 asking permanent address where you are intending to live and address where you wanna receive your greencard. Obviously and not knowing what will happen till after his job interview i wrote his current address. So i guess if it happens, that he has to move we will have to say it at the AOS though.

Thank you and best wishes!

Yes, I know about that question.. When I saw it first I started investigating the matter and found out that if you are not in the process with USCIS you don't have to report change of address. You can do it later, once you start your AOS. So, no worries about that. :)

Good luck to you, too. I hope everything goes well for you at the interview ;)
