Racist White Christians gave the land that is now Israel to get the Jews out of Europe and to stop them from blowing up good British citizens. They still want to control things there, and even what is allowed to be said about it. I'm no fan of Helen Thomas, but few Arabs, Christian or not, have forgotten what really happened, even if people in the US have the luxury of denial.

This doesn't mean Jews should be sent back to Europe, anymore than Muslims should be removed from Europe. Both groups migrated in the last 50-100 years, both have equal claim to remain where they are - Muslims in Europe / Jews in the palestine.

I'll see your point more clearly when Muslims get a nation in Europe.

When they're population reaches 51% of the local population they will automatically have one. (Or if Turkey ever enters the EU...though I wouldn't hold your breath on that one)

yes, a bill maher clip was precisely the kind of dumb-down this thread needed.

a) he's wrong, and fcuking ignorant of how many off the rails crazy people there are here. andres serrano's death threats after the exhibition of "piss christ" is one such example. artwork was vandalized at the "sensation" exhibit as well-the museum had to hire an armed police officer to guard olifi's madonna after someone threw paint on it. ted rall gets death threats over his anti-military cartoons all the time.

b) elton "from my point of view, I would ban religion completely" john just played in a big music festival in morocco, a 99% muslim country, without a single incident transpiring. surely if this is such an issue, then one would think that this extraordinary exception would make for a huge newsstory. strangely it hasn't, because it's really not an extraordinary exception after all-it's more or less the norm the utter majority of the time.

THE IDF(Israeli defense force) has a drone following a a target car ( A presume terrorist head). That car went into the supermarket and the drone

Fire a missile at it killing 89 INNOCENT PEOPLE GOING ABOUT THEIR DAY TO DAY LIVE

The irony thing is, the targeted person got injured but managed to get out of it alive, but now 89 innocent people are Dead.

One side will quickly calls it COLLATERAL DAMAGE

So what's the difference between this incident and someone whose family got killed put on a Bomb vest go to the other side and go into a restaurant and blow himself/herself up.
