Since the email doesn't require a signature, could I email it to NVC. I could use her email address. I'm just wondering because it could save a lot of time to people who's dependent doesn't have easy access to interwebs.

Are you the one that she chose to be the agent? If so, I emailed my husband's (I was the the designated agent) from my email address to NVC and it was accepted. Make sure to include the name and dob of both you as the petitioner and the beneficiary as well as cc the beneficiary.

Yes. In our example, I would be the USC petitioner and she the beneficiary.

I just made up the form letter and had my wife e-mail it. I think that is the way it is supposed to work. I would do it that way so they wouldnt hold you up for something stupid like that. Technically it is supposed to come from the beneficiary's e-mail...

use above link as a template and e-mail DS-3032 on your wife's behalf. Create an e-mail on your wife's behalf (Lname_Fname@domain.com) and use it. Also send the original DS-3032 sent you to your wife VIA e-mail / or any other possible. Then have her print it out, fill out properly and send it to NVC VIA FedEx/DHL. This way you are guaranteed to be on the safe side

How'd you got your medical appointment so early before you submit the aos and ds-230 package?

We did an advanced medical with just the NOA2 and the MNL case number on the AOS letter. You can do it anytime after you have the MNL case number..so since you payed the bills, you can do the medical.

Yep...at SLMC Manila it is first come first serve - No appointment necessary.

If you have your NVC case number (MNLxxxxxxxxxx), passport, etc. you can go to SLMC immediately.

It is a wise decision to have the medical done ASAP (can only speak about SLMC in Manila - don't know about other countries).

If there are any questions regarding xray, etc.....they can be addressed immediately (TB sputum & culture testing).

If you wait until the interview....it could cost you a few months (culture test if required is 60 days and positive results are 6 months). The sooner you go the sooner you know.

The downside to having it done immediately is........ the SLMC medical is only good for 3 months.....so if it will take longer for the interview to take place.....you would need to have another medical done (and pay for it again).

Yes make sure she sends it to the NVC @ address provided VIA FEDEX/DHL. You then track it online when they get it (usually takes 3 days from Bangladesh/Dhaka)
