AP usage

Hello, well my AP has arrived and I have booked a trip to the Bahamas for this Sunday... I will be home on Thursday and also need to go back to Canada that Friday. They sent two sheets for the AP... does this mean you can only use it 2 times and thats it until your GC comes.... or can you use them as many times as you want??

Please help... because I may need to go home again in a few weeks and I will have used my 2 docs.

It's multi-use, you can use it as much as you like. They take one of the sheets the first time you use it and then you keep one stamped and use that each time you cross. They do not need another copy when you use it again for the second, third etc. time.

You'll also get a stamp in your passport saying you've been "Parolled" for 1 year.

It's not likely that they'll give you a hard time, but you do have to go into secondary and it takes a bit of time, depending on where you are. I did it a bunch of times at Pearson and it took from 10 to 20 minutes each time -- there was never a line when I went through.
