I had read some of the March 2010 CR1 filers topic and tried to see if there was one for this month but I don't think there is? Anyways I just wanted to be included as well as anyone else who wants to give updates here on their newly started Journey's =).

If you filed in late April or May share it here please!

My update:

Yesterday I mailed off my I-130 Packet and checked the status of it just now(I'm anxious lol) me and my hubby will go for consular processing in the end if all goes well, I look forward to visiting Holland again then also and getting to see my husband again (it has been almost 3 months since our last visit which isn't too bad but it still feels like an eternity).

Not that I have seen so far. Just make sure to keep it current or someone else will come along and make a new one and yours will get swept under the rug (as happened to me).

Well I would like use this thread to put every important event that'll happen for sure I hope other posters might want to do the same, but either way I'll at least put my updates here :D

Also I have a question if anyone's able to answer it , I'm not sure what service center my case will be sent too, I filed it for chicago lockbox under Texas.

Do not worry about it, the Chicago Lockbox will send your case to the Service Center which the US Citizen/Petitioner who resides in :)

Naturalization(N-400):

Texas is 'homed' to Vermont Service Center - but - many VSC casefiles have been 'auto-routed' to California this year (which is a good thing !! CSC is faster on turnaround).

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

hmm I wonder if many people file in the summer probably is the worse time of year to file heh, I'm sure the beginning might be the best because people are busy with holidays? Not sure though any opinions or previous experience on this anyone?

October 19,2010 : NVC received I-130 and case number assigned

I only know that file it during November to December is pretty bad time, it took us over 3 months to get NOA2

I only know that file it during November to December is pretty bad time, it took us over 3 months to get NOA2

Yea I figured because that's right in the middle of the holidays, but I'm sure after is a good time at the beginning of the year, like the march filers seemed to have been going at a nice pace. I hope this year will be a good year for better processing times. Still says 5 months though for I-130 though :unsure:
