Sounds a bit early for a petition approval. Upgrade as soon as you are naturalised.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

They are currently working on cases filed in Jan06 for spouse of LPR, you may make it as an LPR rather than upgrading. Kepp an eye on the visa bulleting and call the NVC. It would not hurt you to Upgrade the Petition if you do become a citizen in the next few months.

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

just want to let you know incase you havent had the chance to check the visa bulletin... they are issuing VISA for Pdate dec 1, 2006.. so you should be the next one in line... your beneficiary might be here in 6months... NVc are processing sooo fast right now.. just imagine for the month of April they progressed 7months....

so, yours will be on the way... you still have to be interviewed before you will get your certificate of naturalization... and then you can upgrade your case...

if your case just got approved, your wife will be receiving a letter from NVC stating your case#.. so if you'll get that.. i suggest you call NVC about your naturalization process...

no matter which way, you're almost there... months more then, your wife will be here....

there are a lot of choices to choose from, first when you get your citizenship you may upgrade the petition of your wife and the petition will then be more likely 3-6months it really depends... second, if you are sure that you have petitioned her last 2007 of january then maybe 4-6months from now you will be receiving the so called DS-3032 the choice of agent coz processing timeframe for lpr petitioning their family is now june of 2007 and usualy it moves 2-3 months in a month and when your petition is now on going then you will be receiving the good stuff and so on... and if you have problems in mind or any questions pls feel free to ask we vj's here are one! :)
