I posted this in another forum but got no response so far....

If you have had higher education, I assume everyone who immigrates and wants a job correlating with their major needs a credential review before they can work.

So my husband ended up with about 200 pages worth of course descriptions and syllabuses.....and we need to get them all translated before they can be reviewed. Where can we get help for this?? Forget regular translators...the cost is too great. The cheapest we've found is $3000 and she is ours that we had used in Costa Rica. Is there an organization that can help???

If you contact one of the foreign credential evaluation services listed here, they may be able to go through his transcript and do a course-by-course evaluation without having to have all of those documents translated.

I got this list from the Utah state Office of Education. Be aware that not every licensing board/institution.college/university accepts all of these evaluation companies. Any particular university may only like one or two of these. Check with the institution you are applying to before dropping money on one of these evaluation companies.

You can check out Educational Credential Evaluators www.ece.org I used them to evaluate my Canadian degree to ensure equivalency

I used CGNFS to have my wife Philippines degree evaluted, it cost around $300 and took about 4 weeks.
