Hahaha :ot2:

On the topic again: I just called the AVR on an impulse and the message changed from missing or incomplete documents and send a letter on the 5th of MArch to missing and incomplete information and sent a letter on the 9th of March. Which means they finally got to my DS-230 but have now found a missing PCC, and thats just my understanding, but I'm on hold now to find out what the RFE is for.

If it is for the PCC,my wife's local Police office is ready to issue it if they get a letter from the NVC. I'm sure they will accept the email instead...

Hopefully I'll be back on track in a week's time.

Great news SJ. Let us know what the tell you!!!

Estrella, I found online the images of DS2019.

http://www.upenn.edu/oip/images/samples/ds2019.jpg

Its just a piece of paper like those online.

Check it on your records, maybe you kept a copy. Since I started this immigration process, I scanned all my documents and also kept a copy in my email address. This way if I'm not with my computer I have it online. Start scanning your papers people, we never know what they will ask us when removing conditions! lol

Crazy NVC!

I don't understand why they want to see your DS2019. It doesn't make any sense!!! Did you ask why they are requiring it?

OMG!!!!!!

Very good idea! This DS2019 thing should have sunset periods. How can they ask for something so old?!

Can countries other than China, Chile, and Canada email their DS-3032 in?

Absolutely ! using the email template here on the VJ wiki.

OTOH - the person that you've asked - is REQUIRED to send a SIGNED DS-3032 form in, via email, to OPT IN to the NVC Electronic Filing Program.

NOT THE SAME THING, at all. ie -

ASCII EMAIL TEMPLATE

vs

Signed, Scanned, converted to PDF GRAPHIC file.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

JUST CONFIRMING.. MY SPONSOR OFFICE ONLY KEEP RECORDS OF THIS FORM FOR 3 YEARS ..UNFORTUNETALY HAS BEEN 5 YEARS SINCE I APPLIED SO THEY DONT HAVE THE FORM DS 2019...WELL SO THE ONLY OPTION IS THE LETTER. IF A MIRACLE DOES NOT HAPPENED AND MY MOTHER ( WICH I HAD LOOKING FOR THE ENTIRE HOUSE FOR THIS ) FOUND THE COPY OF THIS..

I know it's hard, but don't get too discouraged. If this is the only problem they come up with, it looks like an easy fix. Will keep you (and the other March Marchers?) in my prayers - right along with my paperwork!

We just used the template in the wiki and e-mailed it from Mhay's account. It was accepted no problems. Some people opt to print out the form, sign it, scan it, and e-mail it.....too much work for me.

Great news SJ. Let us know what the tell you!!!

It's back to square one again. I called and they said they still havent received my DS-230 yet. the operator again reiterated that it could be in the building but it hasnt been reviewed yet and to wait till next week to see what's going on. So I dunno....

Will see how it goes down from here. I'll probably wait till Friday, which I was gonna do anyway until the AVR updated to today's date with the missing documents message.

So there, that's my update...how's everyone else holding up?

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

07/09/2012 - Check cashed!

have a read?

re: how to properly submit the DS-3032 -

it's either:

1. email - use ascii template found here on the wiki or

2. postal mail - she fills out the ds-3032, she signs it (suggest blue ink), she mails it to NVC (not email).

Good Luck !

The ones that print/sign/scan/email - are required so to do, for the NVC Electronic Processing Program - and that's limited to Canada, China, and some other country. There's too much 'noise' about this processing being 'accepted' for all countries. I've no wish to argue with you about this, but this step of print/sign/scan/email isn't accepted for NON-EP countries.

EMAILING using the ASCII template is accepted, still, for non-EP countries.

Happy Wednesday !

Shuks!!!! Tharnsur and estrella........ It's the darnest thing. Hang in there.

Tharnsur I think your's is a false RFE for DS-230. Because I got a false RFE too in my email today. Just to give you an idea of how out of sync the system is I will describe my timeline.

DS-230 packet received by NVC on 2nd March......Per Fedex tracking

AVR updated to NVC has received the documents on 5th March (Heard this message when I called on the 6th)

Called NVC operator on the 8th--------- (No no packet received.....Its invisible)

Received RFE email from NVC on the 10th ( RFE - Missing DS-230 packet......... Heart in my mouth)

Called AVR. AVR updated that NVC has reviewed the packet of information on the 8th and found missing documents (10th March........ Bal#s in my mouth)

Called operator on 10th............ We received the DS-230 and is entered into the system on the 5th.......Its a false RFE.

So you can see the disconnect. I think this happens most often when you send in your AOS packet before DS-230. Once the AOS packet has been processed then they issue an RFE to indicate that they are waiting for the DS-230 to resume further processing. Hope this timeline helps others in case of any false RFE's and not to have a panic attack (Which I did today)

I think SJ also had the same experiance.

Tharnsur..........I am predicting a log in fail for you by end of today or tomorrow.
