This was a NICE Christmas gift for those yet to complete this process. All I can think to add, at the moment, is RUM CREAM or any adult beverage of your choice. This is a long, annoying process, soooo worth it in the end though. Good luck!!

For the Adjustment of Status (AOS) portion of this process, it is important to have medical information in your possession. Here are my strong recommendations:

When having the medical exam...

1) Be sure the Doctor issues/updates your vaccination record card to indicate all shots received.

2) Ask for a copy of the DS-3025 form. They give you the form in a sealed envelope, which you may never see. This copy could come in handy, esp if USCIS misplaces the original form & issues an RFE during AOS.

At point of entry....

1) If you didn't get one at the medical exam, request a copy of the DS-3025.

When going to the Civil Surgeon for I-693...

1) Print out & highlight the part of the instructions stating which sections of I-693 need to be completed for people who come on the K1/K3 visa. Many civil surgeons will insist they need to redo a complete physical, but show them they only need to fill out the vaccination part. You'll need the DS-3025 or your vaccination record for this part.
