Hello, I am a US citizen and I am filing I-864 forms for both of my parents simultaneously (along with I-130s and I-485s). Both of them are in the US and are in legal status. My question is about household size. Since I am filing two separate I-130s for each of my parents, I have to file two separate I-864s as well. In part 3.9 it says "Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition." so the total number of immigrants on each I-864 is "1". If so, then how do I mention my mom on I-864 for my dad, and how do I mention my dad on I-864 for my mom? Part 21.f says to include those "who are now lawful permanent residents". None of my parents are. And non of them are currently my dependents so I can not include them in part 21.e either. Does that mean that I calculate my household size on each I864 without including the other parent? So, if I have my wife and one child, do I say that my household size is "4" on each I-864?

Do not include your Mom on your Dad's and also the same for your Mom application too and household size will be 4 on each I-864 (you, spouse, 1child, your one parent on each form).

Hope this helps. Good Luck with your process.
