Hello,

Has anyone clicked on the link below and DID follow the steps to file their I-751 to (remove the conditional “2 year green card” basis of an alien’s permanent resident status) for the “10 year green card” and had no problems filing this way and also, how do you submit the fees and or required documents?

(I hope this below link works)

Thanks so much

Don

Uhm... this is a fee-based service - is there a particular reason why you'd want to use them versus doing it yourself?

I didn't realize it was a fee based form joint... duh, I thought it was direct filing to USCIS which made me believe it was faster. No brains no headaches for me today.

Thanks for setting me straight...

:bonk: First head-bonk is on the house..

The I-751 is not a form that can be E-filed (according to USCIS) - there are some and they can be found at/linked-from the USCIS.gov web site.

I'd love to know how they do that. Since I-751 can't be e-filed, they presumably take everything you've sent them and just write it out on the form... And then what? Sign it for you?

$129 to fill in an I-751, are you kidding me?!!!!

My guess, they mail the completed form to you so you can sign it and send it to USCIS.

Seems a much better solution than using, say, a printer.

====UPDATE====

Just did a search. Anyone with $129 bburning a hole in your pocket read the comments at this site.

http://fantastic-search.blogspot.com/2009/...ion-direct.html

Seems they do nothing more than fill in the form online which you then get to print.

I was going to say something like "A fool and their money are easily parted" but they really have gone to some effort to make themselves look official, haven't they? I have to wonder why there's no consumer protection body with the balls and the authority to shut down immigration scam websites...

"no consumer protection body with the balls and the authority to shut down immigration scam websites..."

Here is the catch. There is nothing illegal about what they are doing.

They provide a service and charge for it. Obviously it is something you can do for nothing but if people don't think before they click...

The issues surrounding refund etc is a different matter entirely. Their argument doubtless is that people got what the asked for, a completed form.

Buyer beware!
