I will keep looking at your timeline for any updates! Maybe they have sent it to you? Why don't you email them and ask when the interview date is. As for me, the sooner I know, the better so that I can buy the plane tickets ASAP. I've scheduled my medical and I'm lucky to get cheap return tickets to Kuching. dancin5hr.gif

This is going to be my first time entering US. Is there such a rule where we can only land in either jfk, lax or san Francisco only With our k1 visa . I was always told that we can land at those airport only.

My plan is to land in Dallas international airport (dfw) so I don have to do internal flight.

Hi all

Quick question.

My plan is to land in Dallas international airport (dfw) so I don have to do internal flight.

If that airport is not a POE airport then your flight won't be direct there. International flight WILL always land in POE airport before other smaller airport.

For e.g. me.. I need to go to Minneapolis and there's no POE/officers to stamp passport there. I bought a flight to U.S. and my flight lands at Chicago first to stamp my passport and then I will connect a flight to Minneapolis.

This is from my experience. The flight will automatically take you to POE, they will not let you land at that airport if it's international inbound.

13th May 2014: AOS (I-485) & EAD/AP combo card
21st May 2014: NOA 1 and biometric letter
11th June 2014: biometric appointment
13th June 2014: RFE received via mail
16th June 2014: replied to RFE
6th August 2014: EAD Approved, AP still in initial review
12th August 2014: got tracking number for EAD
( ) August 2014: Received EAD (I forgot what date I got them but I did receive them less than 5 days from the 12th)
10th September 2014: Interview Waiver received (I wished I was interviewed)
April 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice

As far as I know, whichever US airport that you land on first, that will be your POE.

Good luck! I am hoping for that date but I just sent packet 3 yesterday so maybe I am looking at early February instead! :( oh well.. As long as I get a date then it is ok! It took a while for you to get packet 4!

I hope you will get a good deal on the tickets and the interview will go well!

Done with medical and interview will be on Jan 9. I was expecting a date after ehsanandlaura but I got an earlier date instead but all is well and I have bought my tickets... Fiancé will be here with me too!! smile.png
