Hi rhowin,

I have some questions hope you don't mind.

How much the:

1. AOS $70 (You will only pay this once for both parents since their cases are related

2. IV fee $400 per parent ($800 total)

3. Medical $213.35 per parent ($426.70 total equivalent to be paid in pesos)

Also, what are the documents did you sent for your I-130? I'm going to send my I-130 petition for my mom and my dad next month.

Mother: 1. Form I-130, 2. Check for $355, 3. Copy of Naturalization Certificate, 4. Copy of my NSO birth certificate (make sure both parent's names are on there), 5. Copy of biographic page of my US passport

Father: 1. Form I-130, 2. Check for $355, 3. Copy of Naturalization Certificate, 4. Copy of my NSO birth certificate (make sure both parent's names are on there), 5. Copy of biographic page of my US passport, 6. Copy of my parent's NSO marriage certificate (to show your father was married to your mother before you were born)

IV bill stands for Immigrant Visa fee bill...this you will pay after you pay the AOS fee bill.

I am confused a bit. the letter says: Please note that even though the applicant may have provided NVC with a copy of a document, the applicant is still required to bring the original document at the interview. Does that mean that my mom needs to bring all originals with her again? Or it means that if we have sent copies to NVC, now she needs to bring the originals?

I could not wait for the email re interview schedule so I called NVC and was rewarded for my initiative!

Interview date for my mom is set on the 13th of May! NVC operator said they just scheduled that today and they haven't gotten around to sending the email yet.

I am dancing my happy dance! :dance::yes::D

No they don't send any invoice, pay it straight away. When you will have the cover page, you can send a package of IV documents (DS-230 etc.).

Today I received my passport with visa and the envelope :)

If that bill is available to be paid, then go ahead and pay it. No need to wait.

It's my understanding that you WILL NOT receive an invoice via email for the IV bill. If it's available to be paid, pay it online.
