Here are the lists that I took from this website...

Note: Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage

The USCIS now requires that when filing an I-130 for a spouse that you include evidence of a bonifide marriage. They list examples of acceptable evidence as:

1. Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or

2. A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or

3. Documentation showing co-mingling of financialresources; or

4. Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, thepetitioner, and your spouse together; or

5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties havingpersonal knowledge of the bona fides of the maritalrelationship (Each affidavit must contain the full nameand address, date and place of birth of the person makingthe affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner ofbeneficiary, if any, and complete information and detailsexplaining how the person acquired his or herknowledge of your marriage); or

6. Any other relevant documentation to establish that thereis an ongoing marital union.

We don't have anything listed above from # 1 to 5., I'm thinking about something #6....relevant documentation to establish that there is ongoing marital union...this option is referring to something like...health insurance both applicant and beneficiaries name on it...both names in high speed internet and telephone bills... and car insurance....are those will be considered relevant documentation for ongoing marital union.

Do you think this will be enough for now? We will be gathering all of these in the future when I'll start working.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Why not open a joint bank account and get a credit card together? And neither of you know anyone that knows you as a couple that could write a statement for you? These things along with what you have should be fine.

I can't open a joint bank account since I'm new here and don't have SSN. Probably I can open a joint bank account when I start working.... Thanks for all the replies..great!!!!

I HOPE THIS CAN HELP YOU :dance::dance:

I'm new here but have been using this site a lot. I have a couple questions I was hoping members may be able to answer.

1. Does anyone know if the Proof of Relationship affidavits for the I-130 must be notarized or not?

2. Do I need to submit a check/fee for the I-129F if filed as part of an I-130/K-3 process. The directions say no fee required but it doesn't really give one much confidence in leaving the payment out of the packet.

Thanks
