on the AP I-131 form. Part 3, question 1, ask you for date of intended departure and expected length of trip. What if you don't know the date and also what is the longest length of stay before returning to US? I know this is a dumb question, hope you can give this newbie a little help. Thank you to all, Will and Pan :(

You can give a few dates of times where you might possibly want to travel, for instance, Christmas, or your parent's anniversary, etc. Once the AP is issued, the dates and reasons for any trips taken are not an issue and AP is usually good for multiple trips and valid for 1 year.

Good luck.

dakineman,

If you have some idea about when your wife might travel enter the estimate, as others have suggested. 'to be determined' is also quite acceptable.

Length of stay can be from whenever she leaves until the advance parole expires or until the adjustment interview.
