Hi all VJers,

I have filed for my wife's CR-1/IR-1 in first week of march. I have been looking at Delicia's spreadsheet and I see that lot of march and april filers from CSC are getting approved. I have been so depressed/sad/sick about nothing happening to my case that I have stopped coming to VJ. I am writing this after a long break....For people who haven't gotten an approval yet, do you guys see any touches to your file? Have you tried contacting to USCIS about your case delay???

Hi, we are in the same boat.. CSC file received March 2, NOA1 March 12, touched May 30 address change, and nothing since.

AnastasiaN keeps the spreadsheet for March filers, take a look at her posts, it is very clear from that spreadsheet and from the immigration timeline for CR1/IR1 on this forum that most filers from end of March and most April approved already, but filers with NOA1 March 10-14 are not, a hole in the list..

Not sure what is going on there, tried calling, was told that it is within the processing times (per posted processing date Dec. 18 2007), so nothing can be done now..

Pretty disappointing, May filers are getting approved left and right, while our files are just sit there, it seems.

I hope we will get done real soon, seems like last months they did same things, had some erratic processing flow and later went back and processed those who got left out.

If you hear something or see any touches, please post here, so others who are in the same timeline will know.

Good luck to all of us, we just have to keep hoping for the best and keep our heads up.

I am a late Feb early March filer at VSC. I havent had a single touch since March. I have contacted VSC several times but I get the same old excuses every time. There are few May 2008 filers already approved but some filers from 2007 are still waiting so there is no guarantee or real estimate of when our cases will be processed. Just hang in there and focus your attention on something else. Often things happen when you least expect them so TONSOFPATIENCE is what's required.

Note to Lotospatience - pun intended :-)

As I wrote earlier, at CSC, where we and crazysamurai filed, most of Feb, March, April filers are approved, they do not have a backlog from long ago like at VSC.

It is clear looking at the VJ timeline for CSC only, almost none left unapproved, except for a 2 week window in the beginning of March. Obviously it is kind of worrying, hope they will catch up soon with our files too.

As far as patience goes, most of us, who are currently separated from our loved ones do not have a luxury of being able to "focus on something else". Too bad we can not do anything about it now, apart from trying to induce some touches to any of our mid March files, just in case they are left behind and hoping they will be found and brought forward.. Looks like it worked for some, from what I hear on posts. I called, and will call again later this week, can think of an excuse or two.

Fedup - I completely understand where you are coming from. It is definitely not easy to focus on something else when our mind is 200 percent occupied by one and only question i.e when will we get approved?? I am probably one of the few members who have been seperated from their spouses for more than one year. I first applied for I-130 and I-129F in April 2007, both of them got denied in Jan 2008 and then I re-filed in Feb/March 2008. So all in all I have been seperated from my wife for 15 months now and still dont know how many more months of waiting. So I have already gone through the ups and downs, mostly downs of this whole process. But if there is one thing that I have learned through all this is diverting my attention to anything but the visa process has helped me to remain Sane not just for me but for my wife as well. We are all into this struggle together and I will have you and everyone else in my prayers. Good luck!

I did not mean to argue or vent here, just trying to see if there is a problem with CSC March filers and possibly find some kind of solution. For now after a few calls I realize that operators are not even looking at the case, just reading you a standard version of "piss off and do not call us" thing. Until the case is beyond their self appointed processing time, it's useless unless one can provide them a more or less legit cause to look or touch the file. At least then we will know that this batch of our cases are not lost or overlooked. April filers at CSC are almost all done.. and our issue are specific CSC cases with NOA1 March 5 to March 16 that have zero activity.

I'm in the same boat as everyone here. Sent my I-130 on March 4th and received NOA1 dated March 10th. The only touch I have has been on March 12th and nothing since then. My wife keeps asking when we will get an approval since she's seen the spreadsheet and late March filers have gotten their NOA2 already. I don't know what to tell her, I wonder why early March filers haven't received anything. Hope we all hear something soon!
