just the number.. but you have to have copy of your Naturalization OR US passport along with your package( 325, I130)

Why should you write "None" when you have an A-number? It does not make sense. So write your A- number where you are asked for to provide it.

The reason why I am affraid is because by including A-number, I don't want them (USCIS) to think that I am only a Permanent Resident where actually I am naturalized US Citizen. Wouldn't they get confused by seeing A-number on US Citizen's application?????

If yes, you NO LONGER HAVE A-NUMBER (Not Applicable, not relevant anymore)... If you don't trust the word from someone that went to the process already(myself), then sorry and best of luck!

Actually, naturalized citizens do still have an A#.

Naturalization certificate includes the A# as the "USCIS Registration Number".

U.S. passport applications ask for the A# too.

I think he should provide it on Form G-325A where it asks for it.

They won't think he is a non-citizen just because he has an A#, but they will check his status under the A# and find it to be: "Admitted to Citizenship" Which they do need to do as part of the background check processing for the petition anyway.

They may indeed take away the permanent resident card. However, they replace it with a naturalization certificate.

Look closely at your naturalization certificate. Besides the certificate number, there is also the A-number!

Once you have an A-number, you always have one, even after naturalization. Naturalizing doesn't destroy your A-number, particularly because the law also provides for revocation of naturalization (i.e. denaturalization), which would return you to a lawful permanent resident.

So, in my opinion, if the immigration service is asking for your A# even though you are naturalized citizen in connection with a benefit application, you should give it to them!
