Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

***10 year green card in hand as of 2/2/2012, loving and living life***

Hmmm maybe we should move back to Canada! lol smile.png

2007-12-19 - INTERVIEW AT MTL, SPLIT DECISION.

2007-12-24-Mom's I-551 arrives, Pop's still in purgatory (AP)

2008-03-11-AP all done, Pop is approved!!!!

6 June 2008- Mailed I130 to Toronto (DCF)

7 Nov 2008- I130 approved in Toronto!!

21 Nov 2008- Received Packet 3 from Montreal

4 Jan 2009- Mailed Packet back

9 Feb 2009- Medical in Toronto

24 Apr 2009- Interview in Montreal...Approved!!!

30 Apr 2009- Received Visa... few hours later crossed to border for the 6 day drive to Utah!!

6 Apr 2009- Arrived at our new HOME!!

13 May 2009- Welcome letter received

19 May 2009- Went to social security office and "applied" for SSN

22 May 2009- SS Card arrived in mail!! (I guess they did send in the paperwork at the interview...)

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! Since I'm traveling to a conference tomorrow, I can't be with my hubby for his interview :(

Well, it did NOT go well and I'm irate. Everything was going well. The usual questions "where did you meet", "what do you do". The C.O. asked my husband for his CV, and my husband didn't have it (figures...the one piece of paper he didn't have is the one they asked for). Why the CV? I have no clue! When was the last time they asked for someone's CV for a marriage-based visa? Uhhhh, never. So now hubby is emailing the CV and his interview will be rescheduled....*soon*. (ha)

How terrible...and could he have even questioned what does that have to do with wanting to be with my wife?!!!

Green card/residency card: email notice of approval – August 28th, 2008 yippeeeee!!!

Funny-looking card arrives – September 6th, 2008 :)

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010

What!? I don't even know what to make of this, I'm sure you guys don't know either. His CV, it never would have occurred to me to include that in documents to take. Does the work history have to match the G325A - did he change jobs or anything?

And what is this about his interview being rescheduled soon? He has to go BACK!? Does he live in Montreal?

I'm sorry you guys have to go through this - just not right.
