Didn't know about no camera policy in Federal Building but the whole process was fairly quick with no more than 10 minute wait time. Once called, we were sworn in, and asked similar questions my wife was asked during visa interview. Verified info on applicatin forms and we were done! 10 minutes was all it took and he told us to expect her card in the mail. |

This was easy enough
13 Aug: after the AOS interview, we surrendered the card when the interviewer stated that we won't need it anymore since my wife would be getting her green card. Such a relief, it almost flew over my head! |

Since we moved to Wichita, KS., we sent the paperwork to Laguna Niguel, CA then did the biometrics in Wichita as well as the interview. Missing a few dates so I apologize, but you can see how long it took from filing to approval. |

This is it! The last step towards being a US citizen! Although it took 7 years when it should have only taken 3, this Visa Journey is finally at the end. A new chapter in our lives begins. For those who have helped us along the way, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! Your experiences have helped calmed many nerves and now we can pay it forward! Those of you still on your journey, HAVE patience and be brutally honest in your correspondence. No shortcuts! Best wishes to all!!! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
