Comments : My Fiancee was heading to Newark and due to storms all flights inbound cancelled for 8 hours and the plance was forced to land in Baltimore, ugh... Anyway the one good thing USCIS did was clear everyone on the plane and then turned it into a Domestic flight, but she says the interviewer was not nice :( But she made it !!

Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 9, 2011
Embassy Review : I don't need to repeat what others have written. My Fiancee had the same nice treatment/experience as others who have been through the Rio interview. I was unable to join her due to work schedule. The one question they asked her, why did you overstay your visit in New York, and she answered "to be with me sweatheart" (me) And she said the interviewer laughed. No problems, lasted about ten minutes. She was rushing to get on the plane back to her home. So I did not get any more info. Good luck to everyone. And it is important to update your profile even after you get approved, so others can see what to expect. I see many people stop posting at interview day. Take a moment to help others by posting !!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
