Embassy Review : We arrived 2 hrs before our appt and found 3 or 4 others there. we were all told to stand on other side of the street and wait so we did. after awhile more people were coming and standing directly in front of the embassy so my husband said if they are coming 2 hours after us and standing in front so are we and we walked over and the others on our side of the street followed suit. Then the guard said something in arabic to my husband and my husband told him this mess was his fault for not saying anything to some people and letting others stand there beside him, lol. How about a sign that reads those here for interview please line up in the order that you arrive(wow).

Then about 710 the guard came out and said ok form a line here and everyone was trying to win the race, rediculous that we ended up behind people who had arrived since 5 minutes. Then we were divided into a second line for immigrants. we fared better this time only behind 5 people who just arrived since 5 minutes lol. All in all it was ok except for that we were finished by 930 am.
the consular was excellent with a translator who was very friendly and smiled the whole time and asked very few questions and approved his visa and said you should receive your visa in 2 weeks and gave him the number to track dhl.

i gave them 3 stars because i'm missing the good ol usa where we are taught to wait in line and take turns since preschool and because the mob atmosphere outside.

Embassy Review : My husbands experience was excellent. he arrived at 655 pm (atleast that is what the online tracker said) the flight was so late though and i was stressing out so much because he only had a 2 hour layover and i was so sure he would miss it and i would be delayed another day. He claims that he made it out of immigrations at 7:05 which to me is simply amazing time..he said the officers were friendly and joking around with him and he was able to make it to his next flight in time...

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
