Comments : Transfered to CSC at the end of Nov took 9 months total to get green card. Put in a service request that was a big waste of time but I think necessary to kind of get things stiring. But in the end getting a congressman/senator involved totally helps. Got the AOS 2-3 weeks after inquiry.

Embassy Review : My fiance's interview went well they asked him a couple of questions they had all his paperwork. They finger printed hiim. The interview lasted maybe only a 10 minutes they were professional with him. I had forgotten to send the affidavid of support so at that time they did not keep his passport. With in a week they had the affidavid of support.I call ed the Embassy for a month asking them when they would give us a decison or some sort of word. (it was summer and more busier time for the Embassy due to tourism busy season in europe???) A month later they had asked also for more photos I had only sent in a few with the package I had sent him to start off with. With the initial application I had sent 16 photos I don't know if those didn't get forwarded on to the Embassy or not but with in the same week I sent them 100+ photos. But the same week they arrived I came to visit my fiance and went made a little unscheduled visit to the Embassy. I didn't need a an appointment I brought my passport and just told them I was a US citizen. Thought I was going to have more of an issue getting in with out an appointment guess not. But that really helped our case they must have been shocked cus that same week I was there they issued the fiance visa.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
