Event Description

Embassy Review : My interview was today at 8:15 am. My wife and I got to San Diego early because we though there were going to be alot of people. We parked in Horton Plaza like the rest that have submitted reviews told us to do due to the 3 hour free parking. We were surprised to see that there was no line nor was there alot of people in the waiting area. Our appointment was at 8:15 but we didn't get called in until about 9 am. The IO was a very friendly and polite man. I couldnt of asked for a smoother interview. All he did was go over my packet to make sure all the papers were there and then he asked me the i485 questions which were all no. Then he briefly asked me to tell him when and how we met and when we started dating and when did we get married. He then asked my wife a question about the military and that was it! he said I approve your petition and that I should recieve my green card in about 2 weeks. This is one of the happiest days of my life and I can't be anymore thankful. javascript:emoticon('')

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
