Consulate Review: Sydney, Australia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 19, 2010
Embassy Review : P met with the Consulate at 11 am. He went up to the floor that they described and handed in his information. He waited around an hour and then went to the furthest window to go through the paperwork. Handed in packet 4 items. Sat down for 30 minutes waiting.

Met with the consulate. Asked how we meet / where we meet / when we met/ how much time we spent together over time / what job he had when he was in Colorado before the process started (then he went to Sydney to wait for the process) / how often we have seen each other / how we communicate while apart

He fumbled through our documents.

congratulations you have your visa - you will receive the visa in 7 - 10 days.

On the I -134 it asks for id make sure that if you are the petitioner that you submit a copy of your passport (I did not but that was not an issue) just a note.

Approved left at 1:30pm (so 2 hours there)
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
