Embassy Review : |
Was the first interviewee in, the officer asked me a few simple questions- how we met, how we fell in love, if I've been to visit Khlaas in the US before...told him about that, then we talked about the different weathers of both cities and he didnt even ask to look at any of our photos or anything else, I was in and out in 5 mins. He said congratulations and told me I'll be receiving my visa in 5-10 days. got my visa in 5 days. Good system, simple interview...I give the embassy at Amman 5 stars.
I do recommend looking presentable, as I think it really makes a difference. I was surprised to find some fiancées dressed in jeans, a t-shirt and some slippers, looking like they just got out of bed to get to the interview. It was not a good look, you want the officer to see your serious intent, but without overdoing it....so casual smart dress-code would work nicely. good luck to prospect applicants at this embassy. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
