Embassy Review : Things went well. I had reviewed past posts on VJ and had a good idea what my wife needed to prep for once she arrived, and was inside.

I was able to travel to Thailand to be with her. As stated in others, they do not want to let any one in except who is on the letter. I did go in anyway to carry all the documentation (I over did it, but happy I did! Every e-mail, call, text, etc. since Sept. 2007 well organized) and get additional pages in my passport. She went to the "Immigration" line and waited her turn to turn in her documentation.

General information:
- Ability to speak English is a big plus
- Be prepared with documentation (photos, e-mails, reciepts, messages, etc. in a well prepared package).
- Eat Breakfast!!!
- When you arrive speak with one of the people outside helping people in the line. Show them your health records (X-ray) envelope and appointment letter. They we place you in the front of the line. We were there only 15 mins before the 7:00am scheduled time and by-passed the huge line.
- Go to the "Immigration" line (hint- it's in-side).
- Hand them your documentation... some of ours didn't fit in the slot, don't worry they are still happy to see the effort.
- Wait patiently, you won't know when you are going to be called up.
- No one was pulled into an office. The interview is conducted through the security glass (everyone in the room gets to listen)
- Answer honestly, if you don't know... you don't know.

She was invited to the window at 11:30am and done with the interview at 11:35am.
Questions that were asked:
-How did you meet?
-Where did you learn English?
-Are you planning to work right away?
-When are you planning to go to the USA?

They kept her passport and told her to come the following Monday afternoon for her passport and visa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It feels great to know the time, hardwork, and patience paid off.

Thanks to all those that have written before!
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Minneapolis/St Paul
Event Description
Entry Date : 2011-07-11
Embassy Review : Very easy. A couple of quick questions for me. None for my wife whom holds the K3. Took about 10-15 mins.

Now we are together... Just don't know what to do next.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
