Friendly and accomodating officers at the POE. Though on K1 visa, an officer told me to proceed to New imigrant lane.I handed the yellow packet and the medical result but gave back the medical result and told me i still have to use it for filing AOS. I had finger scanning then the officer only asked few questions like name of fiance and when is the wedding date. When i was able to give a date, he said he wont ask anymore questions since wedding is all set.then told me i can get inside and get my baggages and reminded me about the 90 day rule before dismissing me. |

It wasnt a smooth process. Requested for additional evidence for joint sponsor. Luckily, my bestfriend in highschool, a filipina who is an LPR and lives in other state agreed to be my joint sponsor. Received the RFE on nov 10,2011 but was able to sent the response on dec 22,2011. Jan 9,2 weeks after, we called uscis for any updates and 3 hours after got an email and text update and checked uscis website and its on card production status. Finally on the 13th of jan. gc and welcome letter are in hand.To wrap up, my aos was approved exactly 4 months from the date of filing. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
