I had to wait for about 10 minutes, asked 2 questions relating to my fiancee and then sent on my way, totally hassle free. |

Embassy Review : |
Waited in line for about 25 minutes for the first stage at customs due to 2 planes arriving at similar times. The officer took my details and brown envelope and asked how we met and how long had I known my fiancee. He the took me to the secondary stage office. I sat for about 5 minutes and was called to the counter. I was asked how we met, I answered and that was it. So easy. I am now happy ever after.

Embassy Review : |
I went for my interview earlier this morning, got there (Denver) 15 minutes before our allotted time. We gave our letter to the security officer and we were told to sit until we are called. 1 hour went by, many people had been and gone, still no call. I asked the security officer if he could check, he said they are way behind don't worry. 2 hours go by, still no call, again I asked the security officer to check, they said my letter is on the board and I should be next. The 3rd hour went by, now my wife is a diabetic and she was feeling very unwell so I had to get something from the vending machine to calm her slightly and again I approached the security and asked them to check again, they did, the officer came out and blamed the security officer for not putting my letter on the noticeboard, the interviewing officer had us as non-shower!!!!!!
Anyway, we had the interview which lasted about 30 minutes and were told to expect the green card within 2-4 weeks.
What a nightmare.
I was asked for my passport with I-94 (which the I.O. removed) joint bank details, photos (wedding and others), tenancy agreement, joint car insurance and driving license. I did also give the I.O. our change of address form which she said she would update for us today but I will phone the USCIS tomorrow to make sure as we move next Tuesday.
I also took all the A.O.S. forms just in case but they did not need them. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
