Event Description
Review Date : December 23, 2010
Embassy Review : Arrived at the Embassy in the a.m. Cleared all of the security , my wife got fingerprinted, three little kids were not. It was at least a 3 hours wait before they called my wife a kids for the interview. A pakistani girl called and took my wife's oath and verified the documents. She asked my wife to sign the form DS-230 and asked us to wait.

Waited about 2 more hours and an American guy who was dressed in Pakistani dress called my wife and kids for interview in Urdu. He was very nice. He asked my wife when and where we got married and how many kids we had. She answered. Then he asked my 5 year old son.....pointing towards me....who is he ( in English)? My son said...My Daddy. next thing he said was....Congratulations....Your visa's are approved and we will send your passports in a few days. I requested him to issue the visas on the same day, he agreed and asked us to wait in the Embassy for a few minutes which we did. He handed us the passports half an hour later. We all flew to the States on the 18TH. Thank You VJ members for all of the guidence and support.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
