we flew into san francisco and was confused which immigration line to stand in the officer said either line is okay they asked for the brown envelope and tore it open and checked docs. and asked one question when will we be married to remind us of the deadline before k-1 visa expires they stamped Ann's passport and stapled the departure card in her passport and said welcome to the USA then we got our bags and went through customs and they asked if we had fruits vegetables or meat i said no , they took our declaration card and said out through the exit and when we went through the double electric doors we hugged each other and said we made it and i drove us home. the immigraton customs experience was great they were nice to us |

MY FIANCEE WENT TO HER INTERVIEW ALONE BECAUSE I AM SAVING VACATION TIME FROM WORK SO WE CAN DO MORE HERE SINCE I HAVE HEARD THAT THEY DO NOT ALLOW THE FIANCE
IN THE INTERVIEW ROOM MARY ANN SAID THAT IT IS STRESSFUL BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN, 3 PEOPLE INTERVIEWED HER THE FIRST ONE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT ME LIKE DO I HAVE CHILDREN HOW MANY HOW MANY YEARS I WAS MARRIED WHICH SHE DIDNT KNOW BUT THE OFFICER DIDNT MIND THEY ASKED HER FOR MY COMPLETE ADDRESS, MY BIRTHDATE BASIC QUESTIONS THE SECOND INTERVIEWER ASK MARY ANN QUESTIONS ABOUT HERSELF WHERE SHE WAS BORN WHERE SHE LIVED AND SINCE SHE WAS A OVERSEAS WORKER SHE WAS ASKED WHAT THE ADDRESS WAS WHERE SHE LIVED , WHO WAS HER EMPLOYER .
THE THIRD INTERVIEWER WAS A LITTLE MORE FORMAL , AND ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MYSELF AND MARY ANN BUT THEN HE WAANTED TO TALK ABOUT WHERE MARY ANN LIVED WHILE BEING OVER SEAS BECAUSE IT TURNED OUT THE CONSULATE OFFICER HAD LIVED THERE TWO , THEN THE CO LOOKED THROUGHT THE PAPERWORK AND TOLD MARY ANN THAT SHE WAS APPROVED FOR THE K-1 VISA WHEW WHAT A RELIEF . AS FAR AS MARY ANN'S MEDICAL SHE PASSED WITH NO PROBLEM JUST A WORD OF ADVICE THE WOMEN CANNOT DO THEIR MEDICAL UNTIL AT LEAST 1 WEEK BEFORE THERE MENSTRAL CYCLE, THEY CAN DO IT LESS THEN A WEEK BEFORE THEIR CYCLE AND THE HOTEL TO STAY AT IS EITHER MABINI HOTEL MANSION ON MABINI AVE( OR MIRAMAR HOTEL MANSION ON ROXAS BLVD ACCROSS THE STREET FROM THE US EMBASSY)AND THE OTHER THING IS WHEN YOU CALL THE EMBASSY FOR AN INTERVIEW DATE MAKE SURE THEY GET YOU FIANCE'S NAME RIGHT BECAUSE THE EMBASSY WILL HAVE A PROBLEM IF IT IS SPELLED WRONG , IT DIDNT MATTER AT THE MEDICAL INTERVIEW , AND THEY E-MAIL YOUR APPOINTMENT LETTER TO YOU , REQUEST THAT THEY E-MAIL TO BOTH OF YOU, SO TO THE REST OF YOU K-1 VISA FILERS GOOD LUCK AND MOST OF ALL BE PATIENT WITH EACHOTHER AND THE US EMBASSY, AND DONT FORGET TO HAVE YOUR FIANCEE DO THE CFO SEMINAR BEFORE SHE DEPARTS THE COUNTRY .
NBI CLEANCE IS GOOD FOR ONE YEAR CENOMAR DOSNT EXPIRE , AND LAST DO NOT TAKE ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES TO THE EMBASSY GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THAT GOES THROUGH THIS LONG PROCESS |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
