Consulate Review: Korea

Event Description

Embassy Review : People were very friendly and nice. The consular even pulled a joke on me. Got there 7:20am for my 8am appt. They let us in at 7:30am and we got to wait inside after getting a number. Waited about 10minutes and they took my finger prints. The interview took a place after another 30 minutes.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: San Francisco
Event Description
Entry Date : 2011-02-26
Embassy Review : With CR-1, I arrived at SFO and walked right to the USC/PR line. Over there I was able to find "New Immigrant" line and I found that there was one lady waiting in line. The CBP officer spent about 30minutes with the lady and spent another 30 minutes with me. For some reasons, it took him a minute or two just to write my name on a form but he was a very nice gentleman. We weren't directed to the secondary room either. Other than the long wait, there was no hassle or whatsoever. The CBP officer was overly nice explaining every bit of details on how the green card will come to me in mail and how the visa is now the temp i-551 and good for one year. I was hoping he would skip this mini seminar and just let me go but that was his job and he was doing it - hence, no complain there. I was also able to make change of address without any problem. He asked me why I didn't report this to the embassy but I said that the move was recent and he had no problem thereafter.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
