Overall process was so easy. Applied in mid-March, Green card approved in late July.
Interview at the Federal Plaza was so easy, me and my wife still think we didn't really have an interview.

Original bio was 6/12, early walk-in on 5/28. Long Island City Field Office, Queens, NYC.
We are given an Interview Date after some 8 months of waiting and asked pretty much everything we sent already.
I didn't really understand why we called in the first place but no real question was asked just casual conversation about NYC, life and only one specific question how is the marriage is going and if we go out often to eat etc.? Verbal approval on the spot. He did mention I may or may not receive email/text stuff, but it could take up to 30 days. Was this random? guess so.
It took some 3 months to receive the green card after the interview. |

Interview at the Federal Plaza was so easy, me and my wife still think we didn\'t really have an interview. It only lasted around 10 minutes the most.
Interviewer was an Asian guy, he didn't ask me any questions (I'm the applicant), he asked only 4 questions to my wife. Then I no'ed to those basic questions on I485.
so choice of my smiley is

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
