After my fiancee had not received her Packet 3 by February 18, I called the Barbados embassy and they promised to re-send (they didn't have her PO Box). Still hadn't received anything by March 10, so paid to have DHL pick up the packet from the Embassy and deliver it to my fiancee.
We requested (and paid for) DHL to pick up Packet 4 and deliver it to my fiancee. Instead, we receive Packet 4 in the mail on Thursday, April 28... with an interview date scheduled for 7:30am on Monday, May 3! She wouldn't even have time to get her medical examination, so we had to reschedule the interview. |

As soon as we entered the main waiting room, we were directed to go to one of the windows, where my fiancee had to show her letter from the consulate. Then we were asked to take a seat, where there were over 100 people already waiting for various visas. After a long wait, we were called to a second window, where we presented them with my fiancee's passport and several other documents. Then we were asked to sit again. Finally, the third call came for us, and we were summoned to a third window (in the same room), where the CO gave us a quick interview (when did we meet, how many times have we visited, etc.). After about 10 minutes of questioning, she approved my fiancee's K-1 Visa. YAY! Total time, about 3 hours. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
