We were nervous to cross after reading some reviews for the Windsor-Detroit bridge, however we had no problems. We entered on Sunday at 7 am and were out and done by 7:30. It was quick and painless and everything was done correctly. |

Embassy Review : |
We got to the consulate at 6:45 am and were the first people in line. By 7 am the line was about 10 people. We were in the consulate by 8:30 am. I would advise getting there by 7 am because the line up is huge after 7:30 am!
The interview was quick, about 5 minutes. The officer asked us when we met and where, what my fiance was doing for employment and what my future plans were. He didn't look at any of our evidence of relationship. He was really nice and made jokes about Chicago White Sox to my fiance.
The only stressful part was having to pay a new fee that went into effect that day for the K1 Visa. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
