Local US CIS Office Review: Chula Vista CA
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : June 15, 2012
Embassy Review : Appointment was at 7:25 Am at the chula vista office june 11 2011. Hubby and i with lawyer arrived at 7 am. We walked through the medal detector. We turned in our appoint letter and waited to be called. The officer was a well dressed hispanic lady, very professional. She sworn us in. She asked for our birth certificate, ID, marriage license. She wanted the originals. She asked my hubby for his full name, date of birth. She asked for mine, address, the questions on the I-485, when and how we met, did i ever meet his family, how long has my husband been in the Navy, to list the places we've been to for vacation. She said i was Approved and i will be receiving my 10 year green card in a month.. This has been a very long process for me 2.5 years and I'm so happy it's over. The interview lasted for only 10 minutes
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
