Apart from waiting because the computers went down, all in all very easy. They did forget however, to give me my part of the I-94, which I now need to make a trip to my local airport to sort out. |

Embassy Review : |
Arrived at the Embassy an hour early. Huge queue which turned out to be Camp America kids. Thought it would take an age to get in but the officer directed me to another entry point and I got straight in! Once inside, got given my number and sat in the waiting area until called. Didn't take long, maybe 15 minutes, and was called to an English woman, who looked pretty miserable. She took the required documentation from me and then told me to wait to be called again. The second wait was longer, maybe 35 minutes. This time instead of my number being called by the computer voice, my name was called by human voice which was a surprise! Make sure you listen carefully just in case you are called in this way because the room is very noisy and I could hardly hear his voice. No one else seemed to be called this way so I wasn't expecting it.
Once I arrived at the second window I was greeted by a very friendly American guy who asked me a couple of very simple questions: where did we meet, when are we getting married and where, what she does for a living. All very easy then he said everything is in order and my visa is approved!! Couldn't stop smiling from then on until I fell asleep that night I think!!!! All in all, very easy, pleasant experience. |

Very laid back and easy POE experience. Was in and out within an hour. Would have been a lot quicker but the computers went down just as I arrived in secondary. Very friendly officers, cracking jokes and generally having a good time which made me feel very at ease. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
