At the interview (June 17), they told my wife, "We will be in touch" instead of being approved. I called the Dept. of State the next day and they said we were on Administrative Processing. I called back on June 23 and they said we were approved. We received the visa in the mail on July 1. |

Embassy Review : |
My wife had her interview this morning. The woman who interviewed her was very cold and didn't convey much emotion. Questions included:
- How did you meet?
- Why did you get married in the US vs Israel?
- What do his parents think of you?
- What do your parents think of him?
- What does he do?
- Are you serving in the Israel Army?
- What do you have in common?
- Explain the age difference. (She's 19, I'm 31)
- What did you do while you were in the US?
At the end, she said "You're finished" but didn't indicate YES or NO. The CO, however, took her passport.
My wife asked her, "What should I tell my husband?" The CO replied, "I will keep in touch."
My wife then left. Not sure what to take away from this. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
