Local US CIS Office Review: Phoenix AZ

Event Description
Review Date : March 14, 2010
Embassy Review : We arrived 45 minutes ahead of our appointment and were treated very well by the security staff. We were advised that IO's were about an hour behind their schedules.

Our IO swore us in and asked for our identification and we produced our passports right away. She asked my husband for his SSN. Her questions for him were date of my birth and our wedding date. We provided her with proof of joint accounts (insurance and bank statements) in addition to family photos of our wedding reception.

She advised that she would be approving our application and that we would receive the green card within 3 to 4 weeks. She recommended that we start a new file now (this date forward) to prepare for our 751 application that needs to be submitted 90 days prior to the expiration of the conditional greencard.

She was very professional and expedient and provided us with a letter 'results of this interview'.

TIPS: The actual entrance to this office faces Catalina Avenue and there is 2 hour parking with a great Starbucks only 200 yards away
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
