Comments : He used me to get to the USA. He is a Green card Seeker. Beware!!! We divorced July 17, 2014. He is a Gypsy. That he admitted to. He used my whole family for money and stock piled his. He didn't pay any of the bills or pay my family or myself back. He got us for about fifty thousand dollars all together. And yes he is Muslim. Please be careful and heave my warning. I believed he loved me until I caught him cheating on me. He abandoned us twice within the first three months he was here. He has disappeared and no one knows his whereabouts or his immigration status. Please think with your head not your heart. He played on my kind heart. Take care and be careful with who you meet. Egyptians are well known for this and the US Embassy will warn you about the Egyptian men.

Embassy Review : We arrived at the Embassy at 7:10am where there was a long line outside. A man came to us and asked for the appointment letter my hubby handed it to him and he signed it and gave it back. Then another man came to us and told us to turn off our cell phones. Then another man came to us and looked at the signed appointment paper and moved us up in the line closer to the entry door. If you are standing in front of the U.S. Embassy doors you will go to the line on the left. It would be best to get there at 6:30am because alot of people are there for other things your wait will be shorter. We waited until another man told us to go inside. When we entered this is where they took all of our electronics and gave us a number to collect them on our way out. We went through the security process then out the door and to the right to the chairs outside where you sit until the security guard tells you to enter. Then we went to the next line at a podium and they gave us a number then we sat and waited until they called our number. The first time they called our number it was to go to a window where a woman looked through all our paperwork from USCIS and NVC to see if anything is missing and to see if they need anything else from us. She asked do you have your medical? She took it opened it handed us back the empty envelope, took his passport and gave us back just a few original documents and all the extra copies from NVC that were sent in with the I-864,IV and AOS receipts, copy of the DS-230 and copies of the original and translated documents like military, birth and criminal. She then gave us a white paper and said go pay DHL. So, we did! The second time they called our number he went up to a window and they took fingerprints. Then sat down and waited again.....Then they called my hubbys name to go to another window so, I followed. He put our two bags that had everything they could ever ask for in them up on the counter they greeted eachother and then I popped around the corner and suprised the consular carefully carrying my cup of coffee and I greeted him also. He then looked through the paperwork and asked do you have your divorce decree he gave it to him. He didnt have a list of questions he asked us from. He asked us questions that pertained to our individual case and our answers gave him more questions to ask us. He asked to see our photo album and my hubby gladly showed it to him and talked about our pictures. He said I reviewed your papers and everything seems to be in order. Then he said congratulations and mabrook!!! Then he told my hubby you will receive your visa DHL in two weeks. We all smiled at eachother and Thanked him and walked out of there quickly with smiles on our faces knowing we will be able to continue building our future together and not miles apart. In our opinion once you have your interview date you are on your way to receiving your visa. Also, look at your individual case and anything and everything that you think you need to take with you just take it even if they don't ask for it at least you will have it! With our experience the interview was just to make sure they have all of the needed documents from us and to make chat to make sure we have a legit marriage. We felt very comfortable once we were standing in front of the consular. Good Luck to all that have upcoming interviews. Be yourself and all will be great!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT THROUGH OUR PROCESS!!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
