Newark was a dream ......Even when I was declaring the money ....I had filled in all the forms that I had d/loaded off the internet ...the guy was so impressed that I had done all his work for him...very easy and friendly POE |

We originally had an AOS interview date of 09-26-06 but this was canceled by the USCIS though NOT canceled at the local office at Greer SC. So because we didnt attend the interview our AOS was DENIED. We went to Greer armed with all emails, and printouts of the USCIS site stating that the interview had been canceled and they admitted it was not our fault and re-opened our case. New interview date is Nov 3rd 06.Will update you on how it goes......
My advice, if you get an email stating your interview has been canceled send a letter to the local office where the interview is to be held and just make sure it is canceled with them ......
Went for interview and the first thing the lady said was " I am so sorry that you have been messed about"... She was so friendly , as are all at the Greer office, it is so small and like a home from home not like an immigration office at all ......now for a bit of R & R for me and my son just concentrate on my daughter now....... |

Could not believe this had gone through so quick. We had no RFE's and no interview. It looks like a very well presented application did work. We put in as much as we could think of , with letters and photo's ( all with details and time stamps on ). Our opinion was better too much than too little.I got my GC on Mar 7th 09. When we did not receive my sons after 30 days we contacted the helpline number. They confirmed that he had been approved but told us that his card had not been ordered. They contacted the VSC on our behalf and his GC arrived Apr 22nd 09. Going to take a small break now from the immigration stuff. |

To say how nervous I was I must admit that I was made to feel very much at ease with the whole process......Even when I only took 1 copy of one of the forms the lady just made a joke and said "looks like I will have to work for my wages today"....All in all a plesent experiance and the staff there are so polite, helpful and understanding of nervousness...
