Embassy Review : |
We prepped all of our documentation and reprinted all of the forms from the website with computer generated forms and applicaitons. Barcodes, and multiple passport photos in hand. the packets, documentation, medical, sponsorship (I-131) and all applicable documents were reviewed. the wait for the group of that day was very long. the screening was not so organized from the hired help for the embassy. Once in the embassy the audio was not in as great of quality to let the people know if their number was being called.
You could see who was prepared and ready to get a visa and who was not. the people that were not ready to be active citizens were D'Q'ed very fast and dismissed from the vetting process.
the rest answered questions. I will say that the first reviewer was not used to having someone with better English language skills correct information that was not accurate. (she did still include the incorrect information and the visa had to be reprinted after its first issue)
the interview part; the interview was intense, 15 minutes, and it would have been high stakes had we not prepared. taken in both English and Spanish the questions were different and relevant to ensure a relationship and the means to have a sponsored Visa.
local courier service was scheduled for a delivery. The visa was issued that week and delivered early the next week. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
