I, the wife, was the petitioner as US Citizen and my husband the beneficiary, a Canadian citizen. They wanted more proof of domicile from me at the interview. I submitted my documents that were more than enough, but again they wanted more. I sent in more again and didn't hear back from them. I had my Senator involved as well as my congressperson and within a month or so my husband had his visa. The process was not pleasant as Montreal is really understaffed and unprofessional. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 92 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 183 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.
