After all the security checking and all, I finally got inside and we were told to sit on a chair inside a room that looks like a waiting room. They started calling people by the #s that was initially given when we were going through the security in a pattern that looks randomly to me. After waiting for close to 2 hours, it was now my turn. A Nigerian employee came forward to collect some of my documents (Affidavit of support, DS 156 and 156K, medical result, police report and birth certificate) and I was told to wait for CO. During my wait, I saw a lot of people that were denied by this young crazy-looking Asian lady. There was this lady that was refused a visa by the most famous Asian lady due to dowry trap. Around 9:15am, I was finally called to the front by a CO. She is a white lady in her late 20s. She was very professional and kind. She even allowed me to carry my 5months old son through out the whole interview. She made the whole process less stressful for me.
These are the following questions I was asked:
1. What is the name of the petitioner and who is he to you?
2. How long have you known each other?
3. How did you meet?
4. When did you meet physically?
5. How many times has he visited and when was the last time?
6. When did he propose?
7. Does he have any siblings?
8. When are you going to marry?
9. How did your fiancé/e get to USA?
10. Where does he work?
11. Which college did he attend?
12. Does he have any kids?
After all these questions, she decided to approve this visa and she told me to pick it up in a week. She was lively through the whole interview. By 10am I was already outside the embassy and immediately gave my sweetheart a call to give him the good news

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
