Event Description

Embassy Review : Overall a good experience (because we were approved at interview!) When we got there there was a long line outside the building (in the rain!) to wait to get through security inside the building and we stood out there for about a half hour. We arrived to the interview room 10-15 minutes prior to our appointment time and handed our notice at the window. We then waited over 2 hours before our name was called. The interview itself was about 25-30 minutes. The IO was pleasant and extremely thorough. They asked us many, many questions -- mostly about our relationship, family, engagement, honeymoon, what we had for dinner last night, etc. etc.

Parking in the lot across the street is $16. If you don't know the area well arrive early and allow time to get lost (lots of oneway streets and some traffic).
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
