Biometrics appt was scheduled at Santa Rosa, CA on our baby's due date of 6/19/12, so we walked in 5/30/12 and had it done with no problem. |

Embassy Review : |
Arrived at 8AM Thursday, went through security and waited inside for an hour until my name was called. Turned papers in at window 1 and they told me to wait outside. After half an hour they called me back in, took my finger prints, and told me to wait inside. After about half hour they called me up to window four and as she(American in her 40's) went through my papers she asked me;
Tell me when you met your wife and where?
Can you describe the first night you met?
How long we knew eachother?
Do you have any photos?(which I didn't give at window 1) She looked for less than one minute at pictures with no comments.
Asked about police clearance papers.
What does your wife do for work?
What is her surname and where does she live?
The whole interview was less than 5 minutes with me standing at the window and her flipping through the papers.
We included a copy of the USC 09 taxes, but she requested the official transcripts to be faxed, originals weren't necessary. She said to bring it anytime, an appointment wasn't necessary Monday through Thursday. I returned Monday with the fax and the visa was approved! javascript:emoticon('')They kept my passport and said to come back Tuesday to pick everything up. javascript:emoticon('')

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
