Now that I have calmed down a bit and talked with my wife, I believe the blue slip is based on several red flags: 1) Our short time period between meeting online and getting married (about 4 months). 2) Getting married on my first trip to Chongqing. 3) Not going back for a second visit before the interview (I have already made reservations for second trip in March!).
Overall, not spending enough time together, short duration of relationship and marrying quickly! Hey, when you have more years behind you then in front, time is very precious when you meet the one you have waited your whole life for!! Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Good news! Mei's visa approved; she will pick it up in GUZ next week and then on to Oregon!! I take back all the bad things I said!! How quickly we forget when good things happen!! |

Mei is on her way home to Oregon!! After the "Blues" all is "Pink" now!! I will revise my rating and give better marks to GUZ now that the review is complete and the outcome was great! Got a Call-in Letter over the weekend and all she needs to do is go to Guangzhou, pick up the visa and fly to her new home!! Ain't life grand!! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
