Took around 2 hours total time from landing until she came out the customs pathway. In going to the Social Security office, they explained to me that she did not get an EAD because the K1 gives her 90 days in the States. They said that is is possible that we get an EAD card in the mail with the SS card. |

AOS for I-485 and EAD/AP sent to Chicago lockbox via USPS Certified mail with return receipt. We had to return for a 2nd interview since Yan is not 100% good with conversational English. We hired an interpreter. The 2nd interview was around 1-1/2 hours and all is well. |

We need to file in Feb 2013 for 10 year Green Card. ASC Center - Bedford, NH
7/15 - Letter states we have not provided enough evidence to prove a marriage in good faith. Return date 10/7/2013. I responded to the letter and Yan was approved for a 10 yr Green card WITHOUT another interview. 10/16/2013 |

Embassy Review : |
My fiance arrived at the Embassy. Her appointment was at 7:15AM. She ending up being #14 in line. She was a bit nervous after seeing some denied, one for the 2nd time! She had a woman interview. She was asked questions like are you currently engaged and when do you plan to marry. She said the woman was very pleasant and she Thanked them several times for the approval. They told her to return back in 2 days to get Visa. She returned and it was not ready. She went back the next day and all was fine. She happened to be there while the typhoon came inland. Much rain and windy. She did fine and is back home. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
