Embassy Review : |
I have my interview today in Vancouver. My appointment was at 1pm and I arrived 20 mins to 1pm. Every thing was just as described as in other reviews. Both security guards at the entrance and 20th floor was super nice. My interviwer was super nice too. Basically he only asked me two questions coz he said he forgot about the 3rd one and all my front loaded evidence has already satisfied his concerns. The first question was the web site that I met my fiance and where and when we actually met in person. The second question was what my accounting creditial from, US or Canada. I told him that I'm a AICPA so the creditial was USA and he said it's a big plus that made him trust that I will not be a burden to US government. And that's it. Then we chit chat a bit and he remembered the 3rd question during our conversation. The third question was what my fiance does for living.
My visa did not approved right on spot because my police certificate has not arrived the consulate yet. The interviewer told me that he couldn't officially sign the paper yet until he received the police certificate but basically it's passed as all of his concerns have been satisfied.
The take my passport and my big express envelop and told me that they will mail back the passport with my K-1 visa to me once they get the police cert. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
