Consulate Review: Islamabad, Pakistan Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : October 12, 2010 Embassy Review : I'll keep it short and sweet. My wife was at the visa interview for her immigration visa (IR-1/CR-1). She was the first in line so her name came up in about 15 - 20 mins. She was just asked one question "What does you husband do?" She answered it dutifully and then the nice interviewer told her that she will receive her visa from the American Express courier service within two weeks. She got out the embassy, got home and called the american express courier (the embassy gives you a sheet that has all the contact details) and told them that if it is possible for them to give her the immigration package and her passport sooner. they said to pick it up at 5:00PM. So my wife got the passport and the visa package back the same day. People have told me that this is rare. Rating : Very Good
