I don't have exact dates the Embassy having received my petition but they did respond to my email inquiry with an electronic version of Packet 3.5 on January 20th. The instructions stated that it was not necessary to wait for instructions in the mail and to proceed when ready. |

Embassy Review : |
Fiancee arrived by 8 a.m., but eventually waited for nearly 3 hours for her actual interview. Was only asked about 3 or 4 questions and lasted no more then 5 minutes. Since we had submitted pictures of your engagement, the American Male officer did not request any other ongoing relationship proof. The strangest question was "will you marry someone else when you get to the states?" After answering this, obviously no, he said I'm giving you the visa. My fiancee wanted to make sure that is indeed the case, and asked at least 2 or 3 times. Each time he said, yes, I'm giving you the visa. At this point, it seemed to the officer that he needed to call a translator but my fiancee said, "I understand you're giving me the visa, no need for a translator!" They said visa will be sent in 5 to 10 days. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
